Solar panels convert the suns energy into usable forms. Solar panels can be a certain kind of device that attracts the sun to use the sun to power machinery that can transfer the heat from the sun into whatever they need.

Solar panels can be found in all different shapes and sizes including round, square, and rectangle.The photovoltaic cells are very important in producing enough sunlight and heat in order to successfully produce the energy that is needed in order to heat up water, heat homes and power electricity.

Solar panels are in hand held devices and they are in energy efficient appliances. The sun is a wonderful natural resource and can greatly cater to our way of life.You can see them on top of buildings and houses or standing alone in fields.

We continue to study the sun and our other natural resources, and we will continue to improve our means of gathering energy from them. We are still discoevring better ways to employ our natural resources to make our lives better. Initially, when solar panel technology was still novel, it was difficult and expensive to generate electricity from the sun to power your office or your home.

although it is still higher than using man made methods of producing heat and electricity.

You will save money by using solar panels in the long run. You won't have to pay electric bills ever again, and you'll have power as long as the sun continues to shine.

There may be days when there is insufficient light due to cloud to power the system that day, but there should be sufficient capacity to last through this period.

But if you want to make a solar generator for house, you have two options: you could make one that uses your existing power source, or you could go "off the grid" and build a system that doesn't rely on your existing utilities at all.

This introductory article on going to focus on the most basic option - also called the "on grid" solar generator. You'll be able to make your own generator and start going off the grid if you can follow these basic steps.

This method is straightforward and you can immediately start getting paid by your electric company if you follow the steps properly.

Here are the five parts you need to complete this basic generator: solar panels, an AC breaker panel, an inverter, an array DC disconnect, and a kilowatt per hour meter. Here the basic steps you need to complete this generator:

First, to ensure that you can turn your power on and off, connect your solar panels to your array DC disconnect.

Next, to convert your direct current electricity generated from your solar panels into alternating current - the kind of electricity that's used in your house - you need to connect your array DC disconnect to your inverter.

Finally, connect the inverter itself to the AC breaker panel, which is usually found in your garage or on the side of your house in a metal box. This panel connects to all the household appliances in your house and delivers power to them.

Then, if you want to make sure that you get paid by the electric power company, you need to connect your kilowatt per per hour meter to the AC breaker panel and to your grid power source.

The hardest part here is connecting everything to the AC breaker panel in the first place. You can't do this unless you're a qualified electrician - so if you don't have the skills, you should call the electrician and have him complete this part of the process for you.

But these are the basics of how you create your own solar generator. If you follow these steps you can create your own solar generator and start going off the grid today!
