The Amount of Electricity Generated by Wind Turbines
Wind powered systems generate electricity that is garnered from the wind. The amount of energy that is generated will depend on factors such as the wind itself, the type of generator that you use, what the energy that is generated is used for, etc. These factors need to be considered when you decide to use wind turbines.
Wind electricity is an excellent way for people to have the ability to go green and have less impact on the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Electricity is generated from many different sources such as burning of coal, petroleum, propane, solar energy, and even the wind. The wind is a very low cost method of generating electricity and a way that many countries around the world are resorting to for their energy costs.
Wind generating systems depend on one primary factor that will not provide any energy unless you have it. This factor is the wind. There is no guarantee every day that the wind will blow. The more the wind blows throughout the days the more energy that can be created and stored in the system. You cannot have a wind powered system without the wind blowing. This means that you cannot rely on this type of energy by itself but it may be an excellent supplement. However, there are places that you may rely on this type of energy if the wind blows often and the energy consumed is not a large amount of energy.
Another factor that wind energy relies upon is the generator that is used for the system. Generators actually vary in size and the amount of energy that they have the ability to store. The larger the generator is the more energy that can be stored for use. Smaller generators don't provide a lot of energy.
For example, a kinetic powered watch that relies on the wind has a tiny generator that only stores a small amount of energy. A watch is a small device to power so it doesn't use to much. However, the movement of your wrist may not provide too much stored energy if you don't move around too much. If you don't wear the watch for a day or a few days then the watch may run out of energy.
The power that the energy is used for is usually a defining factor how much energy is provided through a wind generated system. In most cases, it is said that people should expect that they can reduce their dependency on other electricity resources by approximately 20% when using a wind generating systems. If the energy is used for a household the amount of energy can be expected to lower the energy dependence of a traditional electricity bill.
The amount of electricity that is generated through a wind powered system varies on many different factors. The different factors include the wind, the size of the generator, and how the energy is being used.
Wind energy is an excellent source of electricity and a natural way to provide electricity. The amount of energy that should only be expected to receive through this type of system is only 20% of what you normally receive.

How to Make Electricity.
Conventionally, electricity is produced by moving colossal turbines. These turbines are moved with the help of various types of energy. Lets look at the most conventional ways of producing electrical energy:
By using various fuels and water - Water is heated on a large-scale in furnaces. The vapor generated helps move the blades of turbines. Fuels like petroleum, coal, and natural gas are used to heat large quantities of water.
By nuclear fission - Electricity is produced in nuclear reactors by making use of the heat generated in the chain reaction caused by nuclear fission. This heat boils water on a large scale converting it into vapor that turns the blades of the turbines.
By bio-waste - Electricity is now also being produced by burning bio-fuels instead of fossil fuels. Bio-fuels are obtained from biological waste, mainly from plants. Bio-fuels are considered safer than fossil fuels.
By hydro-power - Water is also a popular method of producing electricity. Rivers and large bodies of water are used to move huge turbines. Though this method of electricity production does not affect the air around us, it spoils the ecological balance inside the water bodies.
By wind - Electricity is produced by wind generators. These wind generators convert wind energy into mechanical energy which is further converted into electrical energy.
Why is there a need for looking for alternate electricity sources?
Alternate power solutions are needed in the light of highly-depleting fuels and energy sources. Moreover, most of the convention ways of electricity production harms the environment in one way or the other.
The world is currently faced with tremendous power-crisis. We can no longer depend on fossil fuels for power. At the same time, we need to take measures to prevent the harmful effects that convention power production has on the environment.
How can we produce electricity?
In times of global power-crisis and severe environmental-damage, the question is: what can we do to help? We can do plenty if we want to. We need to start with consuming less power. Next, we can employ any of the following energy solution to make electricity:
Wind power solution " Installing a wind turbine can help generate electricity for our homes and farms.
Solar power solution " Using the solar power to cook light up and heat our homes is a wise idea.
Bio-gas " Bio-gas can be used to produce electricity on small scales.
